A Spectacular Event at St. Paul's on the Day of My Retirement

The event was augmented by additional choral voices, instruments, and music. The day, June 9th, was truly a breathtaking day to remember. So many guests and honors bestowed, all quite undeserved but words can scarce express my appreciation. Thanks to Fr. Ben Ball, 2nd VP of the LCMS, who also served as deacon, for the official sendoff. Retirement at St. Paul’s was truly bittersweet, for this has been my home, and these my beloved people for the last 29 of my 42 years in the ministry. The video of the mass is here:
