Christianity-Max vs. Christianity-Lite

As a follow-up to our last issue's theme of weddings - including wedding sermons - here is an analysis by a conservative Anglican bishop of ECUSA Bishop Michael Curry's sermon at the recent royal wedding.  Although this article is framed within Anglicanism, the divide between "Christianity-max" and "Christianity-lite" is a fault-line that transcends confession, jurisdiction, and denomination, and is a worldwide breach within the church catholic.

There is a lot in the bishop's analysis to apply to our own Lutheran tradition in both liturgy and preaching.
