The big events are the Super Winkel on Monday January 20 and the Reception on Wednesday evening January 22. The agenda for the Winkel is below. The morning session will be for exegetically unpacking some upcoming Gospels, and the afternoon session will be a seminar on the theology of preaching led by Fr. Dr. Burnell Eckardt. We’ll explore the Biblical evidence for the emergence of preaching as a New Testament phenomenon, what it is, and how it differs from other types of Biblical speech. What qualifies as a sermon and what doesn't? We’ll discuss preaching theory, with sermon analysis and discussion, do’s and don’ts, etc.

We will also host Gemütlichkeits on Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesday we will be at Redeemer from 6:30pm until 9:00pm and on Thursday we will be there after the Service from about 8:00 pm until 10:00 m.   The Service on Thursday is at 7:00pm and features the Willan setting. On Monday dinner will be provided by a grant from Thrivent. On Tuesday there is no dinner but there will be snacks. On Wednesday LCEF is providing snacks and drinks. On Thursday we will put out whatever leftovers we have. On Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday there will be draft beer available for a donation and you are welcome to bring .your own drinks.

All events will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 202 West Rudisill Boulevard, Ft. Wayne, Indiana 46807. At all the events, you are free to come and go as able.
