Koontz in Hamel - Drinking From Our Own Wells
St. Paul Lutheran School of Hamel, Illinois is pleased to announce the Rev. Dr. Adam Koontz as the speaker for our teacher development day on Friday, March 25. Dr. Koontz will be presenting about Lutheran education, wisdom, and discipline, using the works of Missouri Synod theologians Lindemann and Koehler. We welcome all pastors, teachers and laypeople who might be interested in this important topic to join our faculty for a day of learning.
The Divine Service in observance of the Annunciation of Our Lord will begin at 9 a.m. in the sanctuary. Dr. Koontz’s presentation will follow immediately thereafter in the church basement. Lunch will be at about noon.
There is no cost to attend, but please bring a $10 donation to help cover lunch costs.
