Gottesdienst The Journal of Lutheran Liturgy is seeking a part-time business manager.

Duties are:

- General assistance given to the Editor-in-Chief

- The processing of orders and the shipping of inventory

- Managing subscriptions and the quarterly mailing of the Journal.

Hours would vary, roughly estimated at between 5 and 10 hours per week.

Qualifications of candidates are:

- A member of the Gottesdienst Crowd (or a spouse of the same) who holds the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God and who unconditionally subscribes to the Symbols of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as a faithful exposition of the same.

- Complete support of our masthead - Gottesdienst proposes that the historic Divine Service of the Western Christian Church is more than Christian antiquity. It is a theological treasure which is most fitting for today’s Christian Church. The slogan Leitourgiae propria adiaphoria non est (lit., “Indifference is not characteristic of the liturgy”) reflects this conviction.

- Basic proficiency in Windows 10 environment

- Proficiency in MS 365, especially Excel.

This is a work from home position, perhaps suited to a pastoral family in need of extra income.
