Gottesdienst is sending a free one-year subscription of our print journal to all first-year LCMS pastors and deaconesses. It is our way of providing encouragement and ongoing education to those who have left the seminary for the real world of the parish.

If you have not received yours yet, please contact our business manager Grace Beane at gracebeane@gmail.com so that she can make sure you didn’t slip through the cracks. There may be recent graduates who received calls at a different time, or maybe those who are in their first year of service through colloquy, that we might have missed.

Also, keep in mind the terrible back-up we are seeing in the mail right now. The US Postal Service’s performance is even more dismal than usual at this time for whatever reason.

Christmas is coming! A subscription to Gottesdienst is a great gift idea, not only for pastors, but for everyone! A bulk subscription for your congregation is also a great way to affirm sound theology and liturgical practice to all the saints.
